Mohammed 26 anni, suicidatosi il 6 marzo 2009 nel carcere di santa Maria Maggiore a Venezia, dopo una lunga permanenza in cella che assomiglia più a una segreta medievale che a una moderna camera di sicurezza, molto lontano dai requisiti di legge che stabiliscono dimensioni, caratteristiche architetturali, condizioni igieniche e arredo di una normale «camera di pernottamento». Sei poliziotti della penitenziaria finiscono nel registro degli indagati per «abuso di autorità contro persone arrestate o detenute».

I nomi sopra elencati non sono opere di fantasia, parlano di allarmanti storie realmente accadute nel nostro paese, sono solo alcuni dei detenuti uccisi dallo “stato democratico”. Fino a qualche giorno fa neanche la famiglia Cucchi non conosceva i loro nomi, non sapeva nemmeno quanto fosse lungo l’elenco dei morti nelle carceri italiane. Non li conosceva, cosi come la maggior parte degli italiani, gli inquietanti episodi che hanno come protagonisti componenti delle forze dell’ordine italiane; poi i carabinieri hanno bussato a casa loro per dire che semplicemente «Stefano era morto», in ospedale più precisamente nel reparto penitenziario del Pertini.

APPEAL!

is an old story yet ever present!. At a time when the power is unable to manage social dissent through effective policies and meeting the needs of citizens, here is a recurring experience of political repression, with laws general (eg crime of illegal immigration for non-EU) or occasional measures (warnings, delays in delivery of the passport, simple but focused "firm" for investigations, warnings, oral) or by attempting to reduce the manifestations of social conflict to a mere problem of public order . Dinanzi all’acuirsi del disagio sociale le garanzie di libertà di espressione e di manifestazione del dissenso diventano un bene ancora più prezioso, perché garantiscono a tutti il partecipare attivo nelle scelte che riguardano le loro vite e i beni comuni. Non possiamo rimanere inerti di fronte alle politiche razziste del governo né dinanzi agli ingenti impegni militari uniti ai tagli a scuola, sanità e ricerca; non dinanzi alla costruzione di una centrale nucleare o di un sito di stoccaggio di scorie nucleari; non di fronte al continuo depauperamento delle risorse naturali. Fiat, la Fiom rilancia lo sciopero. «La partita non è chiusa»

«Non siamo quelli del "No". Firmati oltre mille accordi». Landini lancia una sottoscrizione straordinaria

«Per noi la vertenza con la Fiat rimane aperta». Il segretario generale della Fiom Maurizio Landini, fino ad oggi noto per la mitezza nell'atteggiamento unita ad una decisione nei contenuti, lancia un vero e proprio guanto di sfida a Sergio Marchionne. Lo fa circondato da un nugolo di telecamere e di block notes dal bunker di Corso Trieste, storica sede della ex-Flm (l'organizzazione sindacale che univa sotto un'un ica bandiera Fiom, Fim e Uilm), nel corso della conferenza stampa di presentazione dello sciopero generale del 28 gennaio. Il clima è talmente carico che un cronista inesperto titola "Possiamo vincere la partita", lasciando intendere il referendum.
Quasi impossibile vincere il referendum, ma la Fiom in questa fase ce la sta mettendo tutta. Tra le altre ipotesi anche il ricorso legale. Su questo, dopo gli incoraggianti segnali che sono arrivati nei giorni scorsi dagli ambienti vicini alla Corte Costituzionale, è in programma un incontro con la Consulta giuridica della Cgil.
Intanto, i metalmeccanici della Cgil rilanciano tutte le ragioni dello sciopero, che a questo punto si configura sempre di più come uno sciopero politico contro l'attacco alla Costituzione italiana e ai diritti dei lavoratori. E poi apre «una sottoscrizione straordinaria» il cui obiettivo non è solo quello di valutare la solidarietà in termini di risorse ma anche in termini di consenso. La sottoscrizione si può fare anche attraverso internet.
A pochi giorni dal referendum sul futuro dello stabilimento, fissato per giovedì e venerdì, ieri ripartita la produzione a Mirafiori, dopo tre settimane di cassa integrazione. Da mercoledì saranno nello stabilimento tutti i 5.500 operai. I primi a rientrare sono stati gli operai dell'Alfa Mito (300 con il primo turno, alle 6; altri 500 negli altri due turni della giornata).
Ad accoglierli c'era un opuscolo della Fiom con il testo integrale dell'accordo: una pubblicizzazione che nemmeno Fim, Uilm, Ugl e Fismic, avevano ancora tentato. Strange, yet they were considered the people involved. On the title

Maurizio Landini ci tiene a ribadire un concetto: «Siamo il sindacato che firma più accordi nel Paese». Oltre mille gli accordi che hanno coinvolto circa 230 mila metalmeccanici, dalla Ferrari alla Brembo, dalla Indesit alla Lamborghini che è tedesca. Non è finita, perché nei rinnovi delle rsu per le quali hanno votato complessivamente 30 mila lavoratori la Fiom, dichiara Landini, «è l'unica categoria che ha aumentato voti e delegati passando dal 61,7% al 66,6%, per i primi e dal 62,7% al 70% per i secondi. La Fim, invece, in termini di voti è passata dal 21,7% al 18,3% mentre in termini di delegati è passata dal 20,6% al 17,2%. Così come la Uilm è passata dal 13,2% al 10,7% in termini di voti e dal 14,2% al 10,3% in termini di delegati.
Ieri la Fiom ha incontrato i vertici della Federazione della Sinistra, di Sinistra critica e del Partito democratico. Per Oliviero Diliberto, portavoce di Fds, «la vicenda Mirafiori rappresenta oggi un punto cruciale e dirimente per la sinistra e per la democrazia. Non c'è spazio per ambiguità. In casi come questi ci si schiera. E la Federazione della Sinistra si schiera senza tentennamenti con i lavoratori metalmeccanici e con la Fiom attorno a cui nel Paese sta nascendo una vasta solidarietà probabilmente inaspettata per tutti gli sponsor delle imprese e del mercato 'a prescindere».
Sinistra Critica, infine, ha ribadito la totale solidarietà alla battaglia dei lavoratori della Fiat per difendere il lavoro e i diritti, nonchè il sostegno Fiom and the initiatives undertaken to counter the main offensive, undermining of basic democratic protections.
